The following ODSL and US Swimming documents are available for review by our Swim Officials, Computer Operators, and Coaches:

This year ODSL has moved to on-line testing with automatic scoring of your exams.  You will know immediately if you have passed your exam(s).  Pleas click the following "ODSL Tests" to be taken to the ODSL On-line test site.  You will need the following codes to access the exams:

Referee Exam :  ODSLREF                (Referees must complete all three exams and must score 90% on each test)

Starter Exam :  ODSLSTARTER          (Starters should also complete Stroke/Turn exam and must score 90% on each test)

Stroke and Turn Exam : ODSLSTROKE      (Must score 80%)

Officials Training Requirements (as outlined in League Rules):

Section 5.3.1 Stroke and Turn Judge - Attend Training Clinic; pass Officials exam; shadowed an experienced Stroke and Turn Judge at one meet.

Section 5.3.2   Starter - Attend Training Clinic; pass Officials exam; worked at least one season as a Stroke and Turn Judge; shadowed an experienced Starter at one meet.

Section 5.3.3   Referee - Attend Training Clinic; pass Officials exam; worked at least one season as a Stroke and Turn Judge; shadowed an experienced Referee at one meet, and be recommended by the Team Representative.

Section 5.4 - Exclusion from Required Officials Training -  Individuals holding certification from USA Swimming, Virginia High School League or other equivalent organization will be allowed to work at the highest level for which they hold Official certification or an equivalent certification.
